Vi presentiamo il progetto d’arte diffusa dal titolo “Aquae": Visibilia et Invisibilia dell’artista internazionale Paolo Campagnolo, a cura di Sveva Manfredi Zavaglia.
Questo progetto intende creare un viaggio esplorativo nella storia del territorio di San Casciano, al confine tra Valdichiana - candidata a Capitale Italiana della Cultura 2026 - e Val D’Orcia in dialogo.
Vernissage venerdì 8 dicembre 2023 alle 12.00 presso il resort Fonteverde Lifestyle & Thermal Retreat, Località Terme, 1, San Casciano dei Bagni (SI).

We are pleased to present a synthesis of art and beauty in this project entitled 'Aquae': Visibilia et Invisibilia by the artist Paolo Campagnolo.
This art project intends to create an exploratory and immersive journey through San Casciano dei Bagni and surrounding destinations.

Un racconto attraverso la sua comunità in un percorso tra i piccoli borghi le loro acque con le opere di Paolo Campagnolo, dalla città di San Casciano dei Bagni, a Celle sul Rigo, al Castello di Fighine, a Palazzone fino a Trevinano, reimpaginando antiche tecniche artistiche attraverso nuove prospettive e semantiche innovative, tra luce e riflessi. Le opere in mostra si troveranno in un percorso dettagliato e descrittivo: a San Casciano presso la sede del Comune, il resort di Fonteverde e nel Ristorante Bar Daniela e presso Borgo La Novella; a Celle presso Il Poggio e “Chi cerca trova”; nel Ristorante Castello di Fighine Heins Beck Seasons; nel Poder Nuovo di Giovanni Bulgari a Palazzone e nel Ristorante la Parolina a Trevinano.

A narrative expressed through the works of Paolo Campagnolo, where the town of San Casciano stands, among the valleys, the countryside and the presence of humanity, up to the extremes of the landscape between Celle sul Rigo, the Castle of Fighine, Palazzone and Trevinano. It is an art project that significantly enriches the exhibition sites: in San Casciano at the City Hall, the Fonteverde Thermal Retreat, the Ristorante Bar Daniela; at Borgo La Novella; in Celle at Il Poggio e “Chi cerca trova”; at Ristorante Castello di Fighine Heins Beck Seasons; in Palazzone at Poder Nuovo di Giovanni Bulgari and in Trevinano at Ristorante la Parolina.

È DELL’ARTISTA PAOLO CAMPAGNOLO L’IMMAGINE DEL
MANIFESTO DELLA XII EDIZIONE DI ORTIGIA FILM FESTIVAL
A SIRACUSA DAL 18 AL 23 AGOSTO 2020.

È dell’artista Paolo Campagnolo l’immagine che ha ispirato il manifesto della XII edizione di Ortigia Film Festival, il festival internazionale di cinema della città di Siracusa che si terrà dal 18 al 23 Agosto 2020. Dal 2018 Ortigia Film Festival affida l’immagine della kermesse a un artista, una scelta dettata dalla volontà di creare sinergie tra le arti visive.
“Ho da sempre un legame personale e professionale molto profondo con la Sicilia – dice Paolo Campagnolo – e sono stato felice di poter donare una mia opera per l’Ortigia Film Festival. Un’opera che più che un semplice manifesto vuole essere un mio omaggio personale a Siracusa e al cinema.”

During Milan Design Week 2019, that is also link with Milan Design week, the Artbahnhof Gallery presented the exhibition Unmaterial Matter by artist Paolo Campagnolo. The gallery located in the new district Nolo (Nord of Loreto) presents Campagnolo’s new works and can be visited till next 31st of May.
Paolo Campagnolo is a Roman artist in continuous evolutionary research. The artist exploits the potential of two, apparently distant, materials such as metal and canvas, to create his supple and brilliant works. Pigmented glues, gold leaves, silver leaves, metals are attacked by the action of acids for coloring. Case and action intertwine in the swirling search for a semantic language that finds in the reflected light the ideal deus ex machina to communicate with the observer.
